What has it been? over a year now?

Anyways, joined a friend and her classmates on a class project that, to put it simply, was to be homeless for a night. Oh, right, cell phones were allowed. Ignore that part.

interesting that you would take part in such a thing, unfortunately it's sad that many homeless people are alone without cell phones. Last year in this city I think something like 8 people froze to death and somewhere in the vicinity of 20 had to have limbs amputated. It's sad for these people, but some of them just refuse to be helped. I watched a thing on tlc or something once about homeless people, and they hold up those signs that say will work for food or money or whatever. But in the end they end up asking for a hand out and refuse to work :( I don't understand why anyone would want to intentionally stay homeless, I guess it's just the card they were dealt.

Cell phones among the homeless are common. They use pay-as-you go plans, its a good idea for emergencies.
